Schools, colleges and businesses now have an even greater choice of short and ultra short throw projectors with the launch of Optoma's new laser projectors. The short throw models ZW310STe and ZX310STe can project a super-sized 100-inch picture on a screen or wall from just over a metre away while the ultra short throw ZW300USTe and its interactive sibling ZW300USTie can beam 100" imagery from just 55cm. This makes them perfect for classrooms, small meeting rooms or training rooms and guarantee no shadows cast by presenters across the imagery.
Powered by a long-lasting, low maintenance laser light source with an expected lifetime of 20,000 hours at full brightness, the new models offer a cost-effective solution to businesses, schools and colleges.
The four powerful projectors can be used with the lights on and boast a brightness of 3600 (ZW310STe) and 3500 ANSI lumens (ZX310Ste, ZW300USTe and ZW300USTie).
They can be managed and monitored easily over a network via the RJ45. Compatible Crestron RoomView® software can be used to power on/off, monitor, manage and control up to 250 projectors at the same time from any computer. This allows IT technicians to monitor and turn off the projectors remotely.
The ultra short throw models (ZW300USTe and ZW300USTie) also have a built-in media player, optional wireless and a powered USB port all in a compact chassis.
All models support 24/7 operation and versatile orientation, making them suitable for vertical applications such as signage solutions in shop windows or retail displays where space or accessibility can be limited.
