Barco’s laser projector wins Lumière™ Award from the International 3D Society, in recognition of its ‘innovation and impact’
Digital cinema leader Barco proudly announces that its 4K laser-illuminated projector has won a 'Technology and New Product' Award from the International 3D & Advanced Imaging Society. With the award, which was presented during a gala luncheon at Paramount Pictures (Hollywood) on Wednesday last, the Society recognizes Barco's laser projector technology for its superb technology, which will help drive the digital cinema industry forward. Epson stellt erstmals Laserprojektoren vor
Die Epson EH-LS10000 und EH-LS9600W sind die beiden ersten Epson Projektoren mit Laserlichtquelle und 3LCD-Reflective-Panels. Diese Heimkinogeräte wurden für Kunden entwickelt, die Wert auf eine kompromisslos hohe Bildqualität in ihrer Heimkinoumgebung legen. Beide Projektoren nutzen eine duale Laserlichtquelle und erreichen dank der ebenfalls neuen Epson 3LCD-Reflective-Panels einen Kontrast von bis zu 1:1.000.000. Eine gleichermaßen hohe Weiß- und Farbhelligkeit von 1.500 Lumen beim EH-LS10000 und 1.300 Lumen beim EH-LS9600W sorgen in Verbindung mit der 480Hz Bildwiederholfrequenz für helle naturgetreue Bilder in 2D und 3D. Der Epson EH-LS10000 und der Epson EH-LS9600W heben die Qualität der Epson Heimkinoprojektoren auf eine neue Stufe und sind ab Frühjahr 2015 im qualifizierten Handel erhältlich. Preise stehen noch nicht fest. Der Einsatz von Lasertechnologie verleiht den Lichtquellen beider Geräte eine Lebensdauer von bis zu 30.000 Stunden im Ecomodus. Außerdem verkürzen sie die Einschaltzeit der Geräte, sodass der Kinospaß bereits nach rund 20 Sekunden losgeht. Zur weiteren Ausstattung der neuen LS-Serie zählt die Möglichkeit zur ISF-Kalibrierung ebenso wie die Detail-Enhancement Funktion, Zwischenbildberechnung und auch die Möglichkeit, 2D-Inhalte in 3D Bilder umzurechnen. Für eine einfache Aufstellung in hochklassigen Heimkinos sorgt ein großer Lensshiftbereich (+/- 40% horizontal und +/- 90% vertikal) sowie ein elektrischer Zoom mit bis zu zehn Speicherplätzen für voreingestellte Leinwandgrößen. Der EH-LS9600W verfügt außerdem über einen Wireless-HDMI-Anschluss und ermöglicht den drahtlosen Anschluss von bis zu fünf Datenquellen. Ein ebenfalls neu entwickeltes Kühlsystem sorgt für einen praktisch geräuschlosen Betrieb. Dank ihres eleganten Designs mit Objektivkappe und verdecktem Bediendisplay fügen sich beide neuen Epson Laserprojektoren perfekt in jedes Heimkino-Ambiente ein.

HD36: A bright new extension to Optoma’s 1080p home range
Optoma has added another Full HD 1080p projector to its home range. The new HD36 couples high-end home cinema performance with bright, vibrant visuals to produce high-resolution viewing without dimming the lights. This Full 3D 1080p projector with powerful speakers, vertical lens shift and boasting 3,000 ANSI Lumens is perfect for watching TV shows, sports and movies or playing action-packed games on a huge screen any time of day.

Easy connectivity
HDMI and DVI inputs are a huge benefit of the HD36. Blu-ray players, digital television set top boxes or games consoles can be easily connected via HDMI. Along with other standard video inputs, DVI and twin VGA ports can also be useful for gamers and connecting from a laptop or PC.
Simple installation
The stylish black finish complements any living space and its 1.5x zoom along with vertical lens shift ensure a large range of placement possibilities. This makes it easier to position the projector, allows a wider choice of screen sizes and makes the HD36 the perfect option for home.
USB-Power
The USB-Power input can be used to power a HDMI dongle, such as Google Chromecast or the Optoma WHD200 wireless HDMI device.
Dynamic Black Technology
This feature gives more depth to the image by smoothly adjusting the lamp output, based on the brightness information of each frame; to create a stunning high contrast ratio. Bright scenes appear crisp and clear, while dark scenes remain detailed with deep blacks and exceptional light and shade detail.
24 fps
Most movies are shot at 24 frames per second (fps). To preserve the purity of the original image, the HD36 can accept high definition sources at 24 fps to display movies exactly as the director intended.
Full 3D
The HD36 can display true 3D content from almost any 3D source, including 3D Blu-ray players, 3D broadcasting and the latest generation games consoles. Support for 144Hz rapid refresh rate provides ultra-smooth flicker free images. The 3D-sync port can connect to an Optoma ZF2100 System – required for 3D viewing (sold separately).
